about

This album follows the story of a young woman in colonial America whose Father suddenly dies, leaving her with no other family and a lonely cabin in the woods. After starving for days, she travels into the wood bordering her family's farm on a hunt. Hours following the unsuccessful hunt, she takes rest in an open grassfield exposed to a satanic coven ritual. mesmerized by the burning Star, she approaches them with a request to save her life. They bestow a quest to her: bring back a potion strong enough to kill an entire colony of settlers except for one, which is to be brought back as a sacrifice. As she travels looking for the ingredients of a dark potion, she recalls the hemlock in her father's grave. She digs up his remains, and upon finding the hemlock, decides to not proceed with the ritual and to instead join the coven. She makes a mockery of her father's grave and joins the rest of her spiritual sisters in the deep wood.

I'm glad to release the first Final Descent demo with all real instruments and recorded using two separate cassette decks to keep the sound as raw and unrefined as possible. metal music has taken a sharp turn towards overproduction and it fucking sucks. metal should always have a reminder that programmed drums and plug-ins are not the only ways to record tracks. for years i used a keyboard and hated every second of it. after finally obtaining a drumset i have started recording almost immediately on tape. thank you for your support of this project. if just one person listens to this, i've succeeded in what i wanted. as always, death to amerikkka!

about

Final Descent Greensboro, North Carolina

final descent (while being a reference to my favorite Samhain album) represents the conclusion some of us have made: we must be the last of our kind to reinforce racist and capitalist systems. we must be the last of an ugly bloodline of enablers and pacifists.

death to america. death to god and death to satan.

the darkness behind final descent is Necrohekatā
